Account Executive (Remote, Manchester, US)
Description
The Account Executive Consultant Program North will be responsible for the engagement of consultant, specifiers and M&E Contractors with specific attention to the northern UK region. Focus will be to support existing and target new consultant, specifiers and M&E providers across the region with the objective of accelerating sales, generating new demand and promoting single brand loyalty within consulting community.
Identify key global consulting, specifier and M&E organisations and develop the relationship/partnership to position Genetec as the best in breed technology for all physical security software within their client portfolio.
Work within a consultant program by leveraging what is existing and developing where required to standardise engagement across the region and drive a consistent approach through designed practice guidelines.
The Account Executive - Consultant Program North will need to work with UK sales and marketing leadership to align on objectives and contribute to the overall success of the region.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with regional consultant managers as well as sales and marketing leadership to determine the operational needs of the program in the North of the UK.
- Set direction by prioritising and organising activities to achieve objectives and contribute to UK wide strategy
- Contribute to production, localisation and translation of technical and marketing content targeting consultant community.
- Work to program success measurement and achieve improvement objectives.
- Convey relevant information from product management and offering transformation teams into the consultant/M&E community in a standardised way across EMEA.
- Work with field sellers teams to identify trends and needs of the regions as it pertains to consultant engagement
- Liaise closely with UK consultant management and business development team to leverage their best practices and existing processes.
- Maintain flexibility to take on added responsibility as consultant program spokesperson when needed to support regional events, webinars, round tables or one on one engagements.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Experience and a proven track record within the security industry. The ability to comprehend and articulate the Genetec value proposition.
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of IP security technologies with a focus on complex software platforms.
- Understanding of the project cycle from end user through consultancy, design, delivery through the integrator channel and subsequent support, client engagement and ultimate customer experience.
- Previous experience of Genetec deployment would be a distinct advantage.
- Competency in partnership development and project management
- Well-organised and able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Developing partnerships in the context of consultancy, specifier and M&E , including identifying partnership opportunities, brokering and cultivating relationships, designing partnership arrangements, facilitating partner negotiations, and formalising partnership deal structures.
- Excellent writing and synthesis skill.
