Responsibilities And Duties

Private Commercial Network:

  • Administers the cloud-based server.
  • Provides post-sales customer support.
  • Monitors the network health to comply with SLA commitments.
  • Oversees server and network performance issues.
  • Works directly with third party app development team to ensure network performance.
  • Identifies issues and manages network changes as needed.
  • Creates and analyzes reports on the EvoCharge Network & mobile app users.
  • Supports testing of new builds/product launches.
  • Supports DERMS network integration and operation.
  • Manages interfaces to connected utility programs and acts as first point of contact for connected utility companies.
  • Identifies users in specific utility areas as needed.

Other

  • Monitors network performance and security of the system.
  • Troubleshoots network problems to ensure efficient operation of the system.
  • Develops procedures for regular maintenance of the system.
  • Researches new technologies to improve system performance.
  • Creates required documents to document processes related to the system.
  • Supports network integration with other company’s API’s.
  • Identifies additional resource needs to support the EvoCharge Network.
  • Execute on the vision and strategy for the EvoCharge Network.
  • Stays informed on industry best practices.
  • Assists with design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance for our hosting environment and customer environments, especially in the areas outlined above.
  • Completes technical certifications as requested.
  • Responsible for ensuring PPI protocol compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong case management skills, to maintain SLA response times to customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience within a network administrator role
  • Extensive knowledge of networking technologies, operating systems, server technologies, etc.
  • Exposure to Azure cloud-based servers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Stellar organizational skills to keep all projects and product introductions and launches on track
