The Role

We are currently seeking a talented individual for the role of Strategy & Business Development Manager (North America) who will report to the Head of Business Development Distribution and be a part of the Distribution Global Business Development team. Distribution is our term for the commercial B2B team. In this role, you will help set the strategy for the entire commercial team in North America

As part of the Business Development Team, the Strategy Manager will support our Chief Distribution Officer and Regional Managers in strategy formulation, will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams in the development of business-wide operational strategies.
Success in this role demands a strong strategic and analytical orientation coupled with exceptional communication skills as well as a highly developed collaborative nature. In addition, you will be at the forefront of new technology platforms and learn from and partner directly with sales and product leaders to ensure EasyPark expansion across all markets.

You will contribute & make an impact through:

Drive Cluster Excellence: ensuring the full implementation of the Cluster Playbook (Commercial Strategy) across EasyPark markets. This implies the correct definition & mapping of geographies (clusters), the monitoring of account plans, driving data gathering exercises, and updating the commercial strategy by surfacing learnings from the sales team.

Commercial and market fit: Supporting our product and sales team to ensure that our prominent products are fit to scale and meeting expectations of an ever-changing market.

Supporting market leadership: Collaborating closely with Regional and Country Directors and supporting them in the yearly & quarterly OGSP (objectives, goals, strategies & plans)

Project Management: Leading high-impact, cross-functional and cross-market initiatives, e.g., Market transformation and operating model improvements.

Shaping Strategy: Assessing how we can create growth and competitive advantage through M&A, partnerships & market transformation initiatives.

Functional analytics & KPIs: build and support the functional analytical toolbox for decision making. This includes the definition of functional/regional KPIs, the creation and maintenance of scorecards, functional reporting.

Learning and Development: promote knowledge sharing across sales organization and support onboarding of new colleagues. This entails the training and enablement of new/existing colleagues on best Cluster Playbook practices and the creation and maintenance of knowledge library.

Conduct strategic and financial analysis and develop recommendations for the Management Team and Board.

Your background

We don’t think one size fits all, but a successful candidate might have the following:

  • BS/MS degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or other field that is data driven and problem solving with a strong touch of entrepreneurship
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in management or technolgy consulting
  • Other potential attributes could include:
  • Experience as territory/account manager for North America with on-field experience
  • Additional languages
